Wrong trainers Gromit?
We've all done it, gone to the local sports shop and brought the best looking fashionable trainers that offer no support for our feet with little thought about the type of training we're going to be doing.
If you're wearing the wrong type of trainers then this may be holding your performance back and could be having an effecting your overall fitness!
Here is a quick guide to help you choose the right type of trainers for the right type of training:
Used for running on hard surfaces such as pavements etc.
Also good for general gym use and indoor fitness classes.
Off road or trail trainers:
Have a superior tread and are great for outdoor use such as mountain running, running on wet grass, gravel and mud.
Also a good choice for muddy fitness events such as the Tough Mudder.
A cross of both road and trail trainers, offering you the best of both.
These trainers can be used on and off road and are best for Boot Camp training to prevent slipping on wet grass.
